The outside layer is hard cardboard reinforced with linen soaked in a very thin layer of plaster, the limbs reinforced with plaster on the inside, the whole figure mounted on a wooden stand, the parts partly held together with leather straps and the whole made to be adjustable. The functionality needs some revision. The pose of the figure is adjustable by metal screws.
