- Superficial wear to the gilding.
- Presence of superficial patination.
- Three repaired sections around the base.
- The base plaque probably a later replacement.
- The thumb of the left hand probably repaired.
- A scuff mark on the right shoulder.
- The right arm probably consolidated.

Provenance: The collection of Gerard Vissering, former president of the Dutch National Bank. He was an advisor to the Chinese emperor and became a Mandarin official of the 2nd class.
