Provenance:
- The Lolo collection, UK.
- Exhibited at TEFAF 2013 or 2014.
Condition: (UV-checked)
- Generally in good condition.
- The cover with the knob showing some overspraying, probably broken off and reattached. With a restored chip on the rim with overpainting over a surface of app. 4 x 1,5 cm. Some touch-ups to the overglaze enamels in the floral panels, mostly in the blue. The rim with further retouched fritting and small chips around.
- The vase with a tight hairline running down from the top rim of ca. 15 cm, visible on the inside and slightly touched up on the upper part on the outside. Typical superficial frits and baking flaws on the top rim.
- The body with a restored hole with a diameter of app. 5 cm, probably from use as a fountain in the 18th C., visible on in- and outside and with related overpainting.
- The surface with superficial wear, scratches and baking flaws.
- A few small touch-ups to the overglaze enamels. The enamels generally of bright and attractive appearance, the abundantly present iron red not faded as is often the case.
