Bearing the inscription Chenghua ing you zhi 成化丁酉置, which dates the piece in the year1477, during the reign of Chenghua.

Provenance: A Dutch private collection.

Condition: (UV-checked)
- The censer generally in good condition, with superficial encrustation, normal wear and some superficial dents throughout.
- The wooden cover with normal wear and a small chip to the rim.

- 香炉整體品相良好，正常使用痕跡，身上些許小凹痕。
- 木質蓋子正常磨損痕跡，口沿處一個飛皮。
