Containing 140 pages of mostly original photographs (some with 2 or 3 per page) with many fantastic portraits of various types, aerial and other view of landscapes, animals, and a documentation of the 1955 visit of King Baudoin. Including photographs of kings Musinga and Kigeri, Hutu leaders Bassebya and Rukara. Some photos made from early 20th C. original, possibly some from the original negatives in 1955, as marked on one, after Otto Schloifer. Mostly 24 x 18 cm each. Also with a page with paper money from the Deutsch-Ostafrikanische Bank (1, 5, 10 Rupien). Most photos on Gevaert paper, many with the stamp of P. Laval, Adjoint au 2e BUREAU, Service ALMO and Photo Rudipresse, to whom this album probably once belonged.
