Description
The water pot depicts four auspicious animals—an elephant, a qilin, a horse, and a Buddhist Lion—each bearing one of the characters 'Yong Bao Chang Chun 永保长春', literally meaning 'May everlasting youth and prosperity endure.' This traditional rebus conveys wishes for longevity, vitality, and enduring good fortune. The combination of the four mythical and auspicious beasts further reinforces themes of peace, prosperity, and blessings throughout the generations.
